The EXILIO Story

The EXILIO Story

In June 2016, a five year old little girl saw a news video about refugee camps. Crying, she begged her mother to find a way to help. After making inquiries, her mother and several friends collaborated to plan a trip to Greece, where they spent two weeks with 74 volunteers from five countries, doing more than 900 procedures in dental and vision clinics for three refugee camps. When they came home, they knew it wasn't a one-time event.
And EXILIO Projects was born.

We believe being displaced
doesn't have to mean losing identity.
EXILIO exists to provide tools for refugees to emerge into successful new lives, and contribute to their new society.
